A Loving Soul That Left Too Soon

Yes, I've heard the news, she's really gone
A wonderful girl, as beautiful as the swan
Though I don't know her as well as so many
I may never know her, but will still miss her plenty

She was a good friend to all, so caring; so sweet
A tremendous loss, an unbearable defeat
Why has this happened? This is what I question
Was it from a hidden anger or depression?

I may never know her or the reason, but still I grieve
Of how little I know of her, this action I still can't believe
Sad to say, the decision was her's, not mine or your's
But now, high above the ground, her spirit soars

We will all miss her dearly, this is for sure
All the sadness and the pain, we all endure
To a girl who was loved and such a great friend
We love you, forever and always, until the bitter end
