Can I be your lover,
And also stay your friend?
I have no doubt about it.
I’ll love you till time ends!
I want a home some future day,
Filled with things that you find dear.
But the thing that I would cherish most,
Would be to know that you are there.
For I could live in a castle.
Or in a bamboo hut.
I’d buy you what you treasured.
But for me, you are enough!
So, can I be your lover?
I’ll forever stay your friend.
I want to be right by your side,
As we journey life hand in hand.
