Who decided what's beautiful

Who decides what is beautiful
Was it you
was it me
Was it the guy at the magazine?
The media tells us our thighs are too big
Our chests are too small
We look like a pig
If we eat food at all

What makes a size two better than a fourteen
That shouldn’t determine a beauty queen
You don’t look great
If you’re not a size eight
Who said that
You’re not fat

Judgment by the clothes you wear
Is just not fair
Style is unique
Not found in a bottle of Clinique
You won’t be rich
If you wear Abercrombie and Fitch

The Girls won’t line the street
If you have K Swiss on your feet
Freckles on your face
Don’t make you out of place
The beauty of the soul isn’t seen
If your judging by their jeans

You were created to be just who you are
By a God that is not distant or far
Beauty is all in the eye of the beholder
What could be bolder
Loving what you see
Can set you free
