Looking back at all we have done
Our life was happy and so full of fun
From our first date at Bonga Korean
To the night on Tioman Isle where I got on my knees
Our love has grown strong and true
But now there is a different view
We are engaged and yet we fight
Trying so hard to do what is right
In each other we found flaws
They even made us show our claws
A temper I have and mood swings too
They get you down and make you blue
I realize now so many things
Patience, faith and trust I must bring
Always looking for what was wrong
When all your good, goes on and on
When times are troubled, down and week
Your loving kindness I do seek
For I know that there will be a day
I wake up next to you, I love you! I will say
I must stay strong at this time
And wait for the day that you again will be mine
I see now what I did not then
And wrote it down for you with this pen
Now I can see into the future of our life
You walking down the aisle to be my wife
I ask you now to hold these things true
I miss you H-Ling but most of all, I love you.

I like this poem. I can relate. If you set your true love free and it comes back to you then it was yours from the begining. It may take some time but you will see.
I set my first love, true love free and it took 11 years and he came back to me and he was mine from the begining. Both of our marriage to different people did not last. Infact at the same time and year but we didn't know it. We couldn't find each other for years even then it wasn't time but we were there the whole time. Same friends we didn't know we share. But he found me now it was time and he is mine. Now we are husband and wife. Keep the faith, hold your head high. |
