DiFFeReNt

As the sky is purple
And the ground is blue
As the oceans solid
And one becomes two

Over the rainbow and through the gold
To grandmothers house we go
Up and down
On the marry go round
As life begins to grow

If this was that and that was this
Nothing would be the same
Everything so different
Yet everything the same

Life could be the opposite
As left to right
If something in the beginning
Was changed as what was right

If reality was imaginary
And dreams were that of life
This world might not be called this earth
And day would be night

If us humans were?t one that ruled earth
What other creator would?
Would it be the dog or cat?
As if it ever could?

Theyd walk as we and talk as we
Keeping us humans as pets
We would be the one whod be
Laying upon our nests

Under the fire, their companion
If this was close to true
Everything would be so different
And everything so new
