Forgotten Radiance

Contributed by wind_blaze on Tuesday, 14th October 2003 @ 06:05:36 PM in AEST
Topic: dedicatedpoems

The mystique vision of the crimson image,
Flash across the velvet morning sky,
Shining upon the sharpened talons of destiny,
Within it's outstretched wings of forbidden glory
The placid glow of the silver orb,
Glaze against the eyes of tranquil rage,
Shadows of darkened clouds lay within
The minds, sheltered by the rainbow fires,
Beneath its golden feathers.

The glowing fires of a setting sun, spread
Across the evening hours, catching
Through the rays of eternity, the covers
Of the heavens in a radiant splendor,
Sparkling into the twilight, far into the golden eye
Rise, from the land of below the truth of
Ever changing lives, soaring into the mystic
Glares of a shifted evening, it flies
Far into the crimson brilliance, as the idol
Of the world that should unite.

Picturesque lands of ancient gardens,
Sweep upon the past of forgotten fame,
The glorious splendor from the great unknown
Reflect, upon the misty eyes of a creature
So divine, changing through the lashes of time,
Behold the parallel world of an ideal reality,
Where the understanding of those long gone
Upheld, by those that have yet to come,
Shifting through the glares of the reddish-black image,
Stopping to rest upon the world that we have witnessed,
The innocence once found, lost in the distance.
