Bury Your Own Hatchet

Contributed by sicknivesevered on Monday, 13th October 2003 @ 06:14:38 PM in AEST
Topic: SongLyrics

So tell me again, I didn't hear you
The first - time -
My ears are open, you aren't questioned
Yet you - mind -
To tell me everything - Everything I never wanted to know
I wanted my own innocence
But you ruined it - S***, you never thought to go away

BURY YOUR OWN HATCHET AND BURY YOUR OWN SEED
YOU HAVE TO UNDERSTAND THAT I AM NOT WHAT YOU NEED
BURY YOUR OWN SECRETS AND BURY YOUR OWN S***
I DON'T DESERVE TO TAKE THE BRUNT END OF IT

So what's your problem again, I understand
When you - cry -
I am listening, but watching
The time - slip by
So what is it again? How long has it been?
No, I have nothing to do
With it but still - I'm laying here, so talk

(BUT I WANT YOU TO)

BURY YOUR OWN HATCHET AND BURY YOUR OWN SEED
YOU HAVE TO UNDERSTAND THAT I AM NOT WHAT YOU NEED
BURY YOUR OWN SECRETS AND BURY YOUR OWN S***
I DON'T DESERVE TO TAKE THE BRUNT END OF IT

What's that skeleton, hanging in your closet for?
You know I was snooping around
You didn't pull me in here - or did you?
Do you even remember how it happened
How it came to be that I am your toilet
Patiently sitting here
For you to sit on me
And then s*** on me
AND NEVER EVER LET ME BE

IT TASTES SO GOOD - FEED ME MORE
YOU REALLY SHOULD - I WISH YOU WOULD
PICK YOURSELF OFF THE FLOOR

I am perfect
Your blemishes just wipe off of me
SO YOU THINK

DEAD SICK

(SO) BURY YOUR OWN HATCHET AND BURY YOUR OWN SEED
YOU HAVE TO UNDERSTAND THAT I AM NOT WHAT YOU NEED
(SO) BURY YOUR OWN SECRETS AND BURY YOUR OWN S***
I DON'T DESERVE TO TAKE THE BRUNT END OF IT
DON'T SPIT
I DON'T WANT ANY MORE OF IT

Tell me, are you a performance artist? Cause this is screaming to be yelled out loud to an audience. Well done.
