She pretends to be blind
Passing by, she never looks behind
Never looks me in the eyes
But in my heart echoes her lonely sighs
She pretends to be cruel
Her beauty glows like a radiant jewel
I bet she's as kind
As ever plunged upon mankind
For I know she's a pretender
Keeping grace in her sweet gender
An actor sick of the same old play
About to burst in a short delay
And when she does I'll be here
Waiting patiently my dear
To pretend that I cared less
About my vagrant emptiness
