You are a friend and as such I care a lot,
Concerns are that you're losing the plot,
Keep telling you to give marriage a crack,
Back handed comments will lead to a smack.
He loves you, oh yes he does my little friend,
And your love for him drives me round the bend,
You never stop going on about how great a man,
Yet say you can't get married, oh yes you can!
Although the Pope might say dress not white,
Down the aisle you know you'd look a sight,
Tripping in high heels, clip clopping sound,
Done up to the nines, lovers honeymoon bound.
Yes, there might be some reasons for saying no,
But now at this time of life, so please, go girl go,
Whilst there is still vigour, lust, love and vim,
Not just odd days, hasty leg over, marry him!
Your heart tells all, we can hear it sing so loud,
Now do the right thing and make us so proud,
If we have to you know where you'll be heading,
Dragged screaming through streets to your wedding.
