There was a man
Master Carpenter he was
Created all manner of beautiful things
Training had taught him to devise a plan
This man met a young woman
Damaged she was
But he saw in her what others did not
So with a loving heart
And an Oh! so gentle soul
All his patience in hand
He set about to repair the damage
Love he gave her so sweet and pure
Support and care he was always there
So hard he tried to fit the pieces
But each time he came close, something went askew
He loved her so but his heart was heavy
Not being a man to give up he gave her his all
Many months they shared joy in life
Working together through problems big and small
But then she started backing away
For you see the heart is like the most fragile porcelain cup
When it is shattered no matter how hard you try
The pieces will never go back quite the same
So despite all his effort and love the pieces just were not there
If there be a moral to this story, i would say
Love given and received if only for a day
Is worth the efforts of a Master Carpenter
