Upon these white sands I wondered,
Lost amid this endless sea of desolation.
I sought some refuge from the winds
That drove relentlessly into my skin.
Are you my oasis?
For forty days I wondered.
For forty cold nights I stumbled.
Forlorn, without you,
Without your gaze to guide me
Upon the paths of Night’s still realm.
Are you my oasis?
Can life flow through you
Like water from the rock?
Or are you simply mazes
Written upon the sands?
Will you leave with the winds?
Are you my oasis?
