Alone

Contributed by hope on Sunday, 12th October 2003 @ 10:03:08 PM in AEST
Topic: EmotionalPoetry

You feel as though your all alone
Fighting a battle within your own home
How can you possibly pick a side
When each one has someone you cherish inside
Where do you fall amongst the line
Where do you put all the pain from inside
All you can think is where can I hide
Why was this taking over our lives
But you are set free and away from it all
You have the light and knowledge of more
Your father in heaven is all that you need
He takes on the pain and works in thee
He knows it is not of his best
To see your family in all this mess
Even though its hard to see, God still works through catastrophes
He’ll give you strength in these times of trial
And give you hope in a brighter tomorrow
For his best is still on its way
And he is always here to stay

This is very good, and very true. Sometimes the stupid situations we humans create out of what God has given us become far too much for us to handle, and all we can do is go to Him and ask His forgiveness and help.
Blessings
