innocence lost

Topic: AngryPoetry

My life is forever altered
I will never be the same
One day I was sweet and innocent
The next I was forever ruined

Its because of you I feel this way
My life you took from me
So young and impressionable I was
Forced to grow up young

You told me I had to obey
No one would understand
You said if I told
I would only be hated

Sometimes you even brought your friends
It was all a game to you
We played truth or dare
You didn’t care about my pain

I cried, I begged, I pleaded
You would not stop
Until that ever faithful day
Finally you were caught

Although I was only eight
The blame was put on me
I could see the hate in their eyes
As even than they beat me

If only you would of left me alone
I might be free from these demons
Instead oh brother of mine
You took my virginity.

A really great write. No one should have to go through such a painful experience, you expressed your anger and hurt perfectly. Thankyou for posting.
