Last Request

Contributed by TearS on Sunday, 12th October 2003 @ 12:43:10 PM in AEST
Topic: Lifepoems

It’s enough here to live this life
Almighty God, make us free, let us die.

How many times we prayed to you
We wanted nothing but our lives
You are always busy with the world
World of the light, enlighten side!
We cried uncountable tears at your door
We beat foreheads on the floor of luck
Oh God, are you there, can you hear?
We bled, we bleed and it makes a sea
Sea of our valueless sinful blood
Our tears again wash that sea away
Have you ever noticed this!
How much spittle we counted on our faces
Now will you give some tissues to wipe these!
Have you ever kept your eyes on us
Are you always with a hypocritical mask?
How many people die with sufferings daily
It’s just because of your given scarcity,
Do you know that, the creator of everything
If we had the power to rule the universe
We would have already punished you
Forgive us that we did, we don’t know
Only request, will you please let us blow!

Nothing else, if you can’t do this
Then give us death, let the souls release.
