Tanka (A Siren)



The mermaid’s sister
Keeps her bum on a barstool
Whiskey on the rocks!
She’s an alcoholic siren
Scrounging booze off naïve men.


The mermaid’s sister
Does not keep her fishtail on
Whisky on the rocks!
Drink in posh nocturnal bars
Promise any man… good time.
