all the colors in her glory shine as we pass by
another reminder that summer has to die
fall moves in with the colors bold
red, yellow, brown, orange and gold
soon the leaves will give up and begin to fall
if the wind gets to high it will move them all
scattered across the highway and the lawn
another reminder that winter will be upon
the days will be shorter, darkness falls soon
time for more coldness and a little gloom
seasons change as do we with them too
a gift in all beauty no matter how few
