I don’t understand; is it something I’ve said?
It seems like you’re gone, as if you were dead
As I’m mourning you now, nothing can stop this pain
Knowing it’s unlikely I’ll see you again
Did I not mean anything to you?
Was our friendship, our love, just not true?
I’m being selfish, I fear
It’s just that you’re so very dear
And everything seems so unclear
Please don’t forget it all, please don’t
It’s very clear in my heart that I won’t
After everything that’s happened
After everything we’ve shared
Don’t prove me a fool
Don’t say you never cared
You touched me somewhere deep in my soul
Please know, without you, I’ll never be whole
I need to tell you, I need you to know
I love you so much, and I’ll never let go.
