Eventually you will wake up and see
See what your words have done to me
Thought you have won, but boy, best believe
You'll get what you give eventually

Boy, you seemed to be so nice and sweet
And for a while you were my everything
But yesterday my whole world changed
Wouldn't give me the time of day

Eventually you will wake up and see
See what your words have done to me
Thought you have won, but boy, best believe
You'll get what you give eventually

Why are you acting all surprised?
Could it be all this time you had on a disguise?
A front? A fake? Too scared I'd realize?
Well, now I see
How is it possible to for someone like me
To expect someone like you
To get off their high horse and feel me
The way I feel you?

Just know that eventually you will wake up and see
See what your words have done to me
Thought you have won, but boy, best believe
You'll get what you give eventually
