Too young to understand that it wasn’t ok,
To have pieces of your innocence taken away,
Just sometimes it hurts so much, all because of his awful touch,
It’s hard to explain, to have to live with that secret tucked deep inside
To wake up screaming from the nightmares you hide,
Remembering all those tears you should have cried.
The fear that is their when you see him again,
The pain of those days returning with in.
You hide behind the dimpled smile, all the while the pain is piled.
The anger boils up inside, but no one ever sees that pain you hide.
You crouch in a corner hoping never to be seen,
You begin to live your life hoping that it was all just a bad dream.
But then you find hope, in something above.
He saw your pain and offered his love
He wrapped you in his arms and said …“This is a hug”
