Peace of heart, Piece of heart

Contributed by MeaninglessSemantics on Monday, 19th August 2002 @ 01:22:45 PM in AEST
Topic: LovePoetry

Falling head first
Crashing dead into the pavement
My lungs are torn
My heart feels scorn
These tears are born
But then I think of you
and the wave dilutes my blood pallid once more

There's a blade inside
which wrenches like a tempest
My hands look soiled
These eyes are foiled
My open sea now boils
and then I think of you
and the pain dilutes itself pallid once more

When I look back in time
and think of the pain you subside
I remember my plunge
and how you flipped me around
Falling head over heals for you

And when I look back in time
and think of the pain you subside
I remember you calming the tempest
and how you removed the blade
and replaced it with your heart

You, my breathtaking dear
Eliminate all my fear
Diluting any stain
You subside any hidden pain
and create love with what remains

You, my heart warming dear
Deep inside, forever here
The blood now flows within my vein
Consciousness I now regain
and still your heart remains

Great write! I love the last line... isn't it great to be loved so much that they take away all the unpleasantness???
