Rushing

Contributed by thegurl on Tuesday, 7th October 2003 @ 10:44:16 PM in AEST
Topic: Suicide

has there ever been a moment
when you understood suicide
and the thought was comforting
it was okay to die.
do you fear death?
have you ever.
some people
those people like me
embrace the thought
just because it's an escape
but the action would never really be
i don't think it's killing yourself
just rushing the inevitable.

there are those that do and want to do......and there us dramatic ones........that all we really want is someone to regret losing us......grieve for us....is to make someone reel with pain the way they did to us......a final "so there"......it's not that we'd ever sincerely go there.......it's just a door we like to open and look through every now and then...it's not that we'd ever seriously walk through......

I don't think it is rushing the inevitable as much as it deprives ourselves and family a chance to love and be loved. (I know you are not planning this is my opinion of the poem) Depression in its worst state always brings with it the thoughts of suiside. These thoughts come from us believing that people do not care for us.
