There‘s a regression here that‘s hard to miss
Raygun to Shrub to Arnie
All we need now is Bubbles the Chimp
As head of the U.S. army
Remember ‚The Dumbing of America?‘
Well that‘s all been solved take heed
You have no need to buy that book
‚cause no one now can read
We‘re all happy here on funny farm
Watch TV, get fat, swallowing hype
Eat $hit, believe Bush and shoot to kill
The time for hate is ripe
We live so good in the land of the free
In the system that is best
We can‘t see over our bellies
So can‘t tell you‘re not impressed
We compare us only to ourselves
We need NO culture here!
So all shout „Arnie for President!!!“
As we swill the umpteenth beer
No need for intelligence in a leader
That's a concept that is dead
One liners, that's what we REALLY need
Not recalling what's just been said
Oh Arnie save us!!! You are...
So strong..., so big..., SO DUMB!
You are truly one of us...
Our brains grown sadly numb...

I like it. It's clever and to the point. I think that the end is a bit abrupt. |
