When I was just a little girl
You were my special friend
We wore those little necklaces
And swore it'd never end
We were always together
Without you there was no I
We shared so many different things
We yelled, we laughed, we cried
And as we both got older
We slowly grew apart
And everytime I see you now
It tears a hole in my heart
I remember many months ago
We barely spoke at all
But you invited me to a party
You were having that night after school
You touched my heart so deep that night
When you kissed the cuts that crossed my wrist
Even though we were both soooo drunk
And Im sure youve forgotten this
But it meant so much to me, that night
It was like you still really cared
And know that if you ever need a friend
I'll always be here
I really really miss you Beth
I'm sorry for what I lack
The words Ive said, the tears Ive cried
Nothing will bring you back
I just want you to know Im here, I love you
No matter what the cost
You were my best friend Bethy
And now, to me, you're lost

I can relate to this completly, the same thing happened between me and my best friend. I am so sorry that you had to go through this. A very strong, deep, emotional write here. Very good.

Quote - "We were always together, without you there was no I." - I had someone like this but it was all through Highschool. Now we are no more too...a verrrrrrrrry long quite painful story! I thought this was a touching write. Beautiful yet so sad. I can totally relate to your words. Take care.

Touching write.......... I guess I can relate too. But that was on a much smaller scale. This is so sad, I really felt the pain. Great work.
