Let me speak my mind
As this helps me unwind
Though doing so is not so easy
To unearth feelings & comprehend them makes me queasy.
The whole thing is an arduous task
When I stand bare without a mask.
Did I do something wrong
Was that wrong so wrong
To make her feel contemptuous about me ,did I really suck her energy
Then I realize with a twang.
That when I wanted to take her for granted
It was the freedom that she wanted
Was it emancipation & a notion of nobility
That she wanted to feel no responsibility.
It’s the dawning of realization
That it is the past’s cremation
It’s the celebration of what life could be worth
When she walked away , u came along
Honey may I ask u , what took u so long
Though we love each other that’s for sure
Yet u married makes it sort of a lure
What we feel is compassion ;compassion not for each other
But for those who surround you
When u want to fly , they ground you
When I kiss u , u drown
& I look at u mesmerized like a clown
is this lure really impure?
Luv keep loving me what’s the fuss
This is a story and it is about us.
