GOOD MORNING EARTH

Contributed by lovingcritters on Monday, 6th October 2003 @ 05:25:00 AM in AEST
Topic: happypoetry

My critters rise before the sun.
Tiny lanterns of stars are overcome.
Dimming their brightness has just begun.
Early Earth snug in her berth.
Blankets of shadows, covers of dearth.
Eastern wall, night light small.
Creatures snoozing one and all.
Alarm clocks still, not a peep!
Perfectly timed, no oversleep!
Early Earth begins her morn
Removing her night blankets she has worn.
Mr. Moon hovers, 'til his shift will end.
Welcomes Sun his warmest friend.

Morning Connie,

You are so blessed to wake up every morning, also to attend to such lovely animal people. Having the Moon at night and the Sun in the morning. Helping to guide you along. Very nice post Connie. Thanks for the early morning treat.:) Many blessings to you, and all the critters.

Glo!

It is one beautiful poem
-------------------------------------
What you write cannot be seen
By the folks who live ungreen,
By which I mean us city dwellers,
jailed by noise, smoke and hellers.

Those who live where men are men
Awake at morn to see a hen,
The city folk awake at morn,
to symphony of blaring horn.
