LIFE
How do we continue day after day
to be enchanted by your smile?
We chased you when we were young.
Somehow you allways eluded our grasp.
Now that we are older
we try not to disturb your slumber.
Though the promises you made
to our youth have not fullfilled
our hunger.
We dare not complain too loud.
Less you pass us on
to another.
