No Matter
How many times I sip on the wine
Of happiness,
I never savor the flavor.
Just a taste,
I let it flow into my soul,
And its virtue is absorbed oh so quickly.
If perhaps it seems this time
I have become drunk with this happiness,
Fumbling and stumbling with joy,
Do not be fooled,
For I know soon enough I will
Wake from this drunken stupor and
Continue my life accordingly.
