|
It stops, it stares, it targets me
A faceless evil I can’t see
A darkness calling out my name
Every time I feel it it’s the same
I never try to run and hide
I want to feel it burning deep inside
It doesn’t have to try to break me
Because I let it overtake me
Once the darkness is inside
It casts a shadow in my mind
Hatred courses in my blood
Rushing through me like a flood
In an instant it has control
Burning black within my soul
And through my own blood clouded eyes
I see everyone that I despise
With every long and seething breath
I wish on them violence and death
I feel the torment in my heart
Slowly tearing me apart
But I don’t care, although I should
The evil in me feels so good
And just when I think it is too late
That I’ve become an effigy of hate
It leaves me suddenly-until a time when
It can come and consume me once again.
