All by herself as the night comes around
Trailing tears on her face, they fall without sound
The summers warm breeze, moves over her face
As her heart cries out for a tender embrace
The break of day brought such happiness and peace
But tonight all alone, her sorrows released
She sits on her porch, feeling empty and cold
Praying for a love she may always hold
With nobody to share, nobody to love
She looks to the skies,so pretty above
All by herself as the night comes around
Trailing tears on her face, they fall without sound
