Have You Ever?

Contributed by Mick_Puttock on Sunday, 18th August 2002 @ 08:36:24 AM in AEST
Topic: SecretLove

Have you ever loved someone, but you know, they just don't care.
And now you always feel like crying, because they are not there?.
Have you ever seen your star, you make your wish upon
And then you go back inside, and play that sad, love song.

Have you ever seen the one, and whispered, " I love you"
And have you ever said these words, and wished, to hear them too.
Have you ever wished for the day, when two, can become one
But deep inside you know your fear, will stop this, from being done.

Have you ever thought that love is not, what it's made out to be
Because of all the pain you feel, that no one else can see
Have you ever sat and stared, out into the empty space
Dreaming for the day when you, are both in that, special place

Have you ever felt an emptiness, that burns into your soul
Because of how you miss them, without them, you don't feel whole
Have you ever knelt and prayed, and then you prayed some more
For the one thing in this world that would, heal your inner sores

Have you ever sat all night, crying from all your pain
Until the tears flow no more, and you finally go insane.
Have you ever considered the choice, between this pain and death
And maybe even thought to die, would eventually be, the best.
And so my friend I know all this, you see it's all too true
For all these years I have known, I am in love with you.
