Dear Love,

Contributed by Stalkee on Friday, 3rd October 2003 @ 07:05:00 AM in AEST
Topic: Suicide

Dear love,
I’ve been knockin’ on your door,
But still, you ain’t answerin’
You’ve opened it a little bit, but everytime only to cut my heart,
But then again…I guess that’s always a start
I’ve been wanting to make this one girl mine,
But I can never say the right thing at the right time
Anyways maybe I’ll finally tell her,
And maybe you’ll bring us together
I’ve seen what you’ve done to some friends,
You’ve straightened out all their bends,
And I respect you, love, ‘cause you’re a healer
I always feel better when I see her
Anyways guess I’ll write more ‘bout you later

Dear love,
You never work out for me
But I ain’t mad…I just think it’s pretty crappy
Hey, but that’s ok ‘cause when ever I have a messed up day,
I like to sit and think about you and drift away
‘Cause I don’t really have much else…
So thoughts of “her” help me out when I’m depressed
But still, sometimes…I cut myself over you, love, and it brings me pain
But this pain is a good kind, it gives me this rush, and I crave for more, I think I’m going a bit insane

Dear love,
This is gonna be the last poem I ever write for you!
I’ve been workin’ hard tryin’ to find someone to say they love me too,
And when I think I found ‘em you slap me across the face!
When I’m about to tell someone, the words just go away!
And everytime I think about it, I scream about it!
And when I try and sleep I dream about it!
All these thoughts and dreams just eat away at me!!!!
But this, no one can see…
‘Cause I ain’t gonna let it show through,
So no one’s ever gonna know that what I’m about to do, has to do with you
I got this razor sitting here next to me,
Maybe this will be a way to set myself free
And all I ever wanted was someone that I could call…
I want you to know that I took all my poems about you off my wall!
Well got some blood runnin’ down my hands, so I’m gonna go, because my life’s about to fall

This poem reminded me of the song Stan, by Eminem...did you try to make a poem from that song w/different words? Just wondering, its good tho!
