Chances are, you’ll still be here,
Somewhere deep in my heart, I fear.
Chances are, you will not go away,
No matter how I block you out, you stay.
Chances are, I feel you to,
Deep inside the heart I once knew.
Chances are, I let you go,
Before our relationship had a chance to grow.
Chances are, there’ll come a day,
That I’ll be begging you to stay.
Chances are, you’ll still walk on,
Afraid my heart might cause you harm
Chance are, my words will be to few,
To finally express my love for you.
