Hush now baby,
Please don't cry,
Come closer now,
Let me dry your eyes.
Dont you see darling,
I will be fine,
But if your heart aches
Then so does mine.
Lay your head on my bosom,
Close your eyes tight,
I will do all that I can,
To make things right.
I want to ease your heart,
Take away this pain,
But you must do this yourself,
Only you can ascertain.
So I will do what I can,
To show I am here for you,
Always at your side,
I will help you see this through.
I have not much to offer,
Only this simple lullaby,
I hope it is enough,
To help you get by.

Oh Kalika it is so sad to know about this kind of thing - losing a friendship...you expressed how much you appriciated him through your words. Quote - "But if your heart aches, then so does mine" - Oh this is lovely!!! I also feel this way. So sad. Lovely write.
Emma.
