The morning belongs to you-
The sparrows sing to a new day,
The dew glistens a tapestry of diamonds
across the land.
The morning belongs to you-
The fog caresses the lakes and rivers,
The earths animals stretch and shake away
the nights sleep.
The morning belongs to you-
The gentle breeze that coaxes away the night
air.
The rays of the sun, which warm life into all
that breathes.
The morning belongs to you,
Because only you could have been the model
for all this beauty and life.
