We've Got A Date

Contributed by blackfire9786 on Tuesday, 30th September 2003 @ 09:05:00 AM in AEST
Topic: AngryPoetry

The fire of darkness is burning in me
Burning red hot so I can’t seem to breathe
And your eyes seemed to shine
With a radiance unseen
Now your coldness within
Is burning into me
The light shining bright
So I can’t seem to see
I won’t give up yet
You won’t beat me
I’ll get away from you
Just watch and see
I don’t want to be scared
I just want to be free.

And here I come, watch your back
I gave you my heart, you painted it black
I gave you my love then you stole my virginity
Now from my mind, you’ve taken all serenity.
I gave you my kindness, you gave me hate
Now you regret it but it’s much too late.
I’ve got revenge on my mind, and it’s deciding your fate
Not much longer to live now, we’ve got a date.

Your heart is made of ice
But ice is broken easier than stone
The ice will melt some day
And you’ll drown there all alone.
You took my life,
my innocence,
my youth
You left me with the hate
that will now destroy you
You took all the good,
left all the bad
But in the end bad will win,
you should’ve known that.

I hate you, I hate you
Why won’t you go away
You’ve already killed me
Why still do you stay?
It’s getting harder and harder
Soon I’m gonna break
I’ve got a knife in my pocket
And I’m on my way
You gave me the pain
That drove me insane
Now come outside
I wanna play.

So much hate and anger...very well expressed. My hope is you vent your rage with the pen and not the blade my friend. . It's much less of a mess..;o)

I really love this. It's a poem I can really relate to because every word reflects a situation I have recently been in, and I have spent the past 6 months feeling the anger which you so skillfully express. I'm glad to say i'm starting to supress my rage but it still hurts like hell. Thankyou for writing this.
