Teardrops run down a dirty face
Years of fighting
Pain replaced

Food belly full
Life takes
Another toll

Dance across the stage
Hide anger
Control rage

Runny nose
Hand held out
Hold the pose

Camera click
Story told
This is old

Nightmare on the little screen
Life better
Not seen

Sympathy life’s gain
One is saved
Thousands remain

One step taken
But not
For man

Teardrops run down a dirty face
