I hate the words “ I Love You”,
They tear you up inside,
Because when you find out your man didn’t mean it,
It makes you wanna die.

I learned not to say them,
Unless you really mean it,
Because I wouldn’t want to break their heart,
Just like mine was broken.

Those words,
When you hear them,
Means everything to you,
Until those words break your heart in two.

People think that love,
Is just a game you play,
But once your heart gets broken,
You’ll hate those words more and more each day.

Those words,
Used to mean everything to me,
Until he said he wasn’t sure he meant it,
And now I hear those words it makes my heart bleed.

I hate the words “I Love You”,
They tear you up inside,
Bcause when you find out your man didn’t mean it,
It makes you wanna die.

Very nicely done; I like the flow to it. I like your view, as it is the truth. Hope you're doing alright. Excellent poem.
