I think about you,
Each and every day,
Hoping for just one moment,
Where once again you’d take my heart away.
I’ve loved you,
Ever since we met,
But then we broke up,
And I’ve had a hard life ever since.
I know now we’re just friends,
But sometimes,
I wish we were more,
And I’d get another chance.
No one knows,
Why I’m always thinking or depressed,
But the only reason is,
Because you’re the one I truly miss.
Even though I love you,
I know again we’ll never be,
Bur I just wish I’d get one more date,
Where it’d just be you and me.

| Know how this one feels, however my ex always told me that he'd never really be a part of my life until we were on the same level, meaning our feelings were equal and the same, so that did a lot to put the moving on in a little higher gear. Well done. |
