The sky is blue,
And trees are green!
Now isn't that rather obscene?
Why couldn't they be purple or black,
Or yellow or pink or orange at that.
But doesn't this seem foolish of me;
Wishing for things that I want to see,
A cyclops, a fairy or blue margarine,
Those are some things that I havn't seen!
Now back to the sky,
And this is no lie!
It is blue and trees are green,
Now isn't that rather obscene!

Maybe in another life we will all do
Get things going the way we want them to
You'll have your rainbow skies and your trees of blue
Everything will be made just for you.
Until then, we can't be sure
If dreaming was just meant to lure
People towards the untrue and uncertainty
Until then, come and paint around, with me. |
