I danced upon the lake with you last night.
Underneath the dark sky,
Taking my breath away with every sigh,
As you folded your arms around me tight.
My heart began to beat beside yours gently.
Lost in your sweet embrace,
Loving your touch with every grace,
As my lips brushed against yours intently.
I walked toward the heavens with you last night.
The clouds opening up wide,
Shooting stars grazing past our side,
As we gazed into each other’s sight.
Our lips locked as we were high above the land.
The heat of passion in a moment’s bliss,
Melting inside your tender kiss,
As our feet touched the gentle sand.
I awoke to my mountains late last night.
Confused in my bed,
So sure of the visions in my head,
You’re still at your ocean in the dawn of light.
Your love took me to a place I’ve never been.
Craving for your very touch,
…And missing you so very much…
As I’m wondering when we’ll be together again.
