Every goddamn step we take
Life slaps us right across the face
Every bit of luck we get
Comes with two great big steps back
I guess it was fated
But I'm so frustrated
Get the hell off my back
Don't need you attacking me
Shut your goddamn mouth
Judgemental words you shout
Just makes me sick
You're such a ****ing prick
I don't need to know about it
I don't give two ****s what you think
Don't bother trying to change me
I won't be nice if that's not how I feel
You'll always be hated
Forgiveness is overrated
Stay the hell away from me
You'll never overcome me
We're gonna do what we want
Regret will haunt you
One of these days
Things are gonna go my way
My prayers were answered
This won't go unheard
We've got love on our side
We've worked too damn hard to be denied
Our success is in the stars
We've come so very far
We'll get what we've worked for
And settle the score
But I swear, if you get in my face
I'll make you wish you were any other place
'Cause I'm at the end of my rope
And my very last shred of hope
