Please
I'm no child,
I have my own mind.
I know what to say,
And how to say it,
As well as when and why I say it.
These are not things I have to be told.
Please,
Don't tell me what to do,
My mind is my own,
You will never understand or control it.
I think simple and complex thoughts,
Without your aid,
I can make decisions.
I am not the person you wished to be,
Nor the person that I want to be.
YET.
I can find my own way,
Don't assist me.
Please,
Understand that I need to be me,
It is not something you can help me with,
Please,
I know right and wrong,
I wont live for you,
I can only be myself,
Please.......

Excellent thoughts, many could relate to this. And yeah you be yourself, cause if they leave you then you're only left with yourself. We don't all want to be clones. Excellent write.
