They’ll only guess, they’ll never know
That her problems don’t just come and go
They hide behind her mask of a face
Hidden secrets of fear and disgrace
Anger hatred love and guilt
Behind the concealing wall she's built
They build and build until they burst
The surrounding crowd sucking them up with thirst
“She's fed up with life, is it true?”
“Who heard first, was it you?”
“She must be crazy, is she mad?!”
For the rest of us life ain’t so bad!”
It’s not so bad for you or me
‘Cause she can see what we can’t see
Behind the blue concealing eyes
She has a gift. An angels prize?
Her thoughts and dreams aren’t all her own
Captured by her enhancing dome
She shows no feelings, secrets or fears
She knows no love and sheds no tears
She finds it hell, knowing more than she should
No one would save her, even if they could
She keeps it hidden all inside
Until you find, one day, she's died
