LoveRemembered
|
She brushed away the salty
Grains of sand from my face
Leaving me grateful to the toying breeze
For carelessly placing them.
We seemed to lie there for hours passing
The same breath back and forth
As if there was enough
Air for only one mouth.
Any feeling of warmth and
Love and Safety that I
Knew before that time became
Dilute in the warm bath around us.
The sun came up before we
Knew it went down at all.
The tide stole our blanket in the
Night and left behind a salty kiss
Goodbye.
