Love's open door

A flash falls across a dream
Love enters a open seam
Whispers in the wind
Last is the day and I give in
Love the word that I hold
Is a godly gift, as I grow old
Slipping from the shadows
Falls to words of battles
I cannot live here anymore
Walking memories of yesterday
Rainbows on my sill they play
Sunbeams count and keep score
Pain it lingers for awhile
Like the calling of the past
As with all this to will pass
I am liken to a lost child
Spirit of the world
Provides the common curl
Still I don’t know how to try
Love is always the last to die

I liked this,Walt! It has a nice romantic feel to it and flows really nice into a quaint ending.
