I said to my husband the other day
what does cuddling mean to you?
He closed his eyes, growled and said
"a deep and meaningful sc..w"
Now I thought cuddling was something else
like arms wrapped around you so tight,
holding each other in a loving embrace
and whispering sweet nothings all night.
"Oh I love all that as well" he smiled,
and he hugged me to his chest
then one hand lifted the back of my skirt
and the other hand squeezed at my breast.
So is it just a girlie thing?
does it fit in the sexual game
I wish that a man could explain to me
why cuddle and grope mean the same

erm..............I can only speak for miself...................cuddles are not lustful, they are warm comforting and satisfyingly snuggly......................get past that an its a grope, and maybe a slap...depends on the grope'e
I advise reading Broadbottoms " the screws that build a relationship" which explains in greater detail

Hi chatabox,
Commitment, commitment, commitment to very hightest good of the other person - that's love. Cuddle and grope are not synonyms.
Always,

Don't know what you want to hear, but in my experience, no they are not the same! I had to learn this the hard way, but we do learn eventually I think?
You see us men know that you women are more able to show emotions and are therefore seen as more sensual beings. When we try to cuddle you, you are so smooth and soft it's rediculous, we simply want to be as close to you as we possibly can in the hope that some of your tenderness will rub-off onto us!
We also, most of the time, feel as though there's not a great deal you'll let us do for you and one of the only things you'll allow us is to try and please you sexually. We love to think that we can at least do this for and with you! We hear you say cuddle and we love the secure feeling of this, but you are just too strongly attractive to us. When you appear helpless like putty in our hands, it's more often than not the only time we feel truly needed by you! So there!
The bottom line is, we know you are superior in just about every aspect, so we need to feel needed by you, it gives us a level hand for just a few hours anyway!
And we love you very much!
Please don't think sex is all we want you for as this is not the case, it just seems all we can do for you!
We also love the reaction your body and mind show to the touch of our skin, so we can't help trying to achieve more of it! I suppose it could be seen as an addiction to the feeling of being needed!
Isn't this a big part of what love is, the bonding pleasure from which feeling needed gives each other?
If I've repeated myself there, I apologise! This is so easy to think, but when trying to put it into words!
Great write though, it raises a good topic for questioning and we need to ask such things in order to try understanding each other better.
Holding hands everywhere ROCKS!
With love

ROTF!!! and I must add..I can't help giggling at Unaekseveer1's comment. I mean..if that's the truth..then (forgive me for saying this please)...he must be a lost breed!!! I asked my hubby once what he thought snuggling was...he said "you get to hug me for a min, then I get to have sex with you". I almost slapped him. Now granted, he smiled and laughed when he said it..but I think that was all for show. But my Great Grandma sat me down one day and said to me...Cuddling Schmuddling..get right down to it...because you know, no matter what, it's enjoyed!!! Pretty darn good advice I think ...hehe :) |
