Dead Wednesday

Contributed by LenXar on Thursday, 25th September 2003 @ 03:45:00 PM in AEST
Topic: EmotionalPoetry

It's Wednesday again, the middle of the week.
I'm too blurry to feel - too thoughtless to speak.
So far my life and my future seem bleak,
But still you are here beside me.

My heart is dead again because you're not here
To fill the void I hold so dear
I long to hear you whisper in my ear,
"I love you..don't ever leave me."

I ache when I think about the distance.
Please tell me that you want my presence
In your heart, mind, and spiritual valiance,
On this dead Wednesday.

ah...and well i understand you, here
for my love is forever to be
an ocean away from me
do you speak of two
and my love will never be
near enough to hear me
whisper in his ear
how much i want him near me.
and my love cannot hear me
softly say to him
i love him, please don't leave me
please don't leave me.

i hope you don't mind the above. but i loved your poem. welcome to ypdc, though ive only been here a month myself. looking forward to more of your poetry. m

Painful and much hurting can be felt in your words, all the while being a beautiful peice of poetry. Great poem!

I feel this so bad...for so long. I love poems like this, to relate to. Take Care.
Emma.
