A Cardboard Box,
A Place to lay.
A Crime filed alley,
A place to play.
A trash filled can,
A place to eat,
A ten year old,
In the streets
A Daddy in jail,
At least He's warm.
A momma's No longer,
In the way of harm.
A Child so fragile,
With Eyes so Old,
Ever know anything?
At least Not COLD.
