young, scared, and confused

Topic: DarkPoetry

so young, so scared
so confused
did i do something
to deserve this abuse
feel so dirty, so disgusting
so ashamed
too afraid to tell someone
all alone in this pain
feeling so small
whenever he's near
trying my hardest
to fight back the tears
can't let them know
can't let them see
cuz i know what he
would do to me
always tried to think of something else
when it was just him and me
too young to understand the affects
this sick ***** would have on me

now, all grown up
and all ***** up
my mind forever scarred
try so hard to forget about it
but, oft times it's just too hard
the perversions he infected me with
are still with me to this day
i understand that i'm sick inside
but, that doesn't make it go away
Nothing can make it better
the pain will never cease
even when i write it out
i still feel no release

sometimes at night, inside my head
it's still just him and me
i guess i'll never grow up inside
i guess i'll never be free

this must have been quite tough for you to write, but it's been done really well, and i hope you find at least a LITTLE bit of release from writing, despite what you said. You are an exceptional poet, keep them coming!!!

nice write... im glad you could share this with us... it sounds like a very tragic time in your life, and im glad its over... i just wish we could all forget the horrible things, but it doesn't work that way... the best thing to do is talk to someone about it... or write about it like many of us here do... glad to have you with us.. and best of luck with everything
