Eris
I hear her laughing, reeling
As she dances away
Bringing down everything in her path
Casting her shadow to smother the light
Demons prowl in her wake
Sucking the souls of the ignorant
Stoking the fires fed by their lies
Whispering honeyed deceptions to eager ears
And our kings sit high and proud
With sneering stone faces and vacant eyes
Preaching their goodness and false hopes
Stand strong together, united, as they work to tear the world apart
And in her palace, she sits and she laughs
Counting the souls that pass her by
Those that died fighting for nothing, in hate of each other
For nothing
But preaching kings and demons whispering
